Tools needed for assembly: Phillips head screwdriver #2 or #3 and a 7/16" wrench.
Assembly of the Arrest Star door stop/holder is a snap.
First determine the swing that best suites your application either right or left hand operation (Fig. 1)
Secondly assemble the rubber recessed bumpers to the back of the base (Fig. 2).
Assemble the bumper to the free end of the swing arm (Fig. 3). Tighten bolts enough to engage nylon thread in nylon locking nut. Do not over tighten or distortion of the bumper will occur and affect performance of the bumper.

Next assemble the swing arm to the base with the plastic washer between base and swing arm (Fig. 4) . Do not over tighten!Tighten enough to engage nylon in nylon lock nut.
Use enough pressure to hold position but to be easily moved by hand (Fig. 5).
Now you are ready for installation(Fig. 6).
